The Craft

We approach shoemaking as a discipline of balance: structure and comfort, tradition and refinement, permanence and wearability. Every decision—from the shape of the last to the final polish—is made with longevity in mind.

Materials

We select full-grain calf and selected suedes for their character and durability. Soles are cut from oak-bark tanned leather. Linings, reinforcements, and findings are chosen for both performance and the quiet integrity they bring to the finished shoe.

Construction

Ready-to-Wear and Made-to-Order shoes are hand-lasted and hand-welted. House Style and Full Bespoke pairs are built entirely by hand, including a hand-stitched sole. The goal in every case is the same: a shoe that holds its shape, flexes correctly, and can be resoled for many years.

Last design remains the foundation. A well-proportioned last determines fit across the ball and instep, the set of the heel, and the overall elegance of the line.

Finishing

Edges are carefully burnished, soles are finished cleanly, and the upper receives a measured polish that allows the leather’s natural grain to remain visible. Each pair is inspected thoroughly before it leaves the workshop.
